On April 15, a mysterious airstrikes targeted an SUV in the Syrian town of Jdaidit Yabws right on the border with Lebanon.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) confirmed the incident in short statement, saying that the airstrikes resulted in material losses only.

Security sources told RT the SUV, a black Jeep Grand Cherokee, belong to personnel of Lebanon’s Hezbollah. According to the sources, the SUV was targeted by an Israel drone. Many other Arab outlets reported the same information.
“The SUV was targeted by two missiles, the first one missed it, which allowed the passengers to exit [the SUV] just moments before it was hit by the second missile,” the Russian network quoted one of the sources as saying.
The UAE-based Sky News Arabia and al-Arabiya claimed that high-ranking commanders of Hezbollah were the target of the Israeli drone strike.
Hezbollah has not commented on the incident, thus far. The Lebanese group warned several times that will respond to any Israeli attack on its personnel in Lebanon, Syria or elsewhere.
Last year, Israel killed two Hezbollah fighters in an airstrike on the Syrian capital of Damascus. The group responded by targeting an Israeli military vehicle, demonstrating its will to deter Israel.
