On November 22, Israel’s ImageSat released satellite images of the Russian naval facility in Syria’s Tartus. The images, which were reportedly taken on November 12, show Admiral Grigorovich-class frigate Admiral Makarov and the Alligator-class landing ship Nikolai Filchenkov.
The Admiral Makarov frigate recently participated in drills near Syria while the Nikolai Filchenkov landing ship is a part of the Russian logistical operation to support the anti-terrorist campaign in Syria.
