The Islamic State (IS) has issued a call to target airbases, used by the US in the Middle East, an Israeli cyber-intelligence company that allegedly hacked into the terror group’s Telegram communication system reported.
According to Israeli intelligence startup Intsights, “extremely specific targets with a call to attack them” have been listed by the IS in the Telegram system, Channel 10 reported.
The Intsights’ co-founder and vice-president of intelligence, Alon Arvatz, said that while a number of airfields used by the US Air Force were listed, “priority targets” singled out bases in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.
“The long list includes exact coordinates for each and every target, all of which are airports and airbases that are used or could be used by the United States Air Force all over the world,” Arvatz told Tazpit Press Service (TPS).
As reported, targets in Europe, Israel, and Latin America were also included in the list.
The information was received after Intsights’ analysts infiltrated a chat allegedly used by IS to communicate internationally. The team of the startup did not disclose the information about how it managed to hack into the chat group. However, Alon Arvatz said that it is accessed by IS members who then introduce other members.
“I need to know someone who can vouch for me that I’m cleared for the group, and only then can I join,” he said.
According to Arvatz, the Normandy church where a priest was killed by IS “soldiers” last week was also “on a target list published several months ago, and someone recently decided to answer the call and attacked that very church.”
“This proves beyond doubt that there is a direct link between cyber activity and actual terror[ist] attacks,” he said.
The Intsights’ co-founder also stressed that “the Telegram app is completely encrypted, which means no fear of someone monitoring your correspondence and understanding what it means.”
“That’s why IS moved from traditional social media to Telegram over the last year,” Alon Arvatz noted.
Notice how their is no call to attack Israel? Notice how ISIS has no issue with Israel? Must have the same agendas in mind. http://realzionistnews.com/
Israeli Hackers?? Oh, please… Western intelligence PAID Pavel Durov to build Telegram and they use so-called cyber-intelligence outfits like Intsights (a Mossad creation) for intentional ‘leaks’ – Intsights didn’t hack anything, they got a damn dump of the conversations directly from the NSA.
Telegram was meant from the start as a tool to spy on people who felt they needed encrypted communication, like terrorists. How on earth would Durov think he could monetize the time and effort spent to integrate Arabic into his app? There is no Man-in-the-middle exploit with Telegram – it was built from the start with NSA and the five-eyes IN the middle. They can unencrypt and record everything real-time. Durov refuses to delete ISIS-linked accounts because Telegram was created specifically so they would use it. It’s an intelligence gathering tool created by intelligence agencies, as is nearly every other claimed encrypted or secure messaging application.
