Early on August 7, warplanes of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) carried out a number of airstrikes on the Palestinian Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said that the airstrikes were a response to repeated attacks with “arson balloons” by Palestinians in Gaza.
The IDF claimed that the airstrikes destroyed a compound and a rocket launching site of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas Movement. The IAF released footage of the airstrikes.

Palestinian sources confirmed that the Israeli airstrikes hit al-Jabari compound in al-Tufah district in Gaza city and the civil administration building in Jabalya Camp in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. No casualties were reported.

In the last few months, arson balloons launched from the Gaza Strip by small groups like the “Sons of Zouari” and the “Grandchildren of al-Nasir” inflicted some serious harm on southern Israel. On August 6 alone, four fires erupted in the forests of Be’eri and Kissufim.
The Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip are meant to pressure Hamas, the de-facto ruler of the region, into banning attacks with arson balloons. The airstrikes will not likely end these attacks or lead to any serious escalation with Palestinian factions.
Now you see that Bennet and Gantz respond accordingly as we expect them to do, the traitor times are over. Hamas will get slapped for every arson balloon, it took us only 10 days to destroy most of their rocket arsenals (and it took them 7 years to build their capabilities). A new operation under Bennet will include a ground offensive, let’s see how brave those rats are.
