Overnight on June 12, warplanes the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) launched a barrage of missiles at targets near Tell al-Hara in southern Syria. According to the Syrian state media, the IDF employed electronic warfare measures to suppress Syrian air defense systems. Despite this, at least a part of the missiles were intercepted and the strike caused material damage only.
Tell al-Hara is known for being one of the positions of the Syrian Air Defense Forces in the area. Pro-Israeli sources as always speculate that the target of the attack were some ‘Iranian targets’.
The June 12 attack was the third Israeli strike on Syria in June. The previous strikes targeted the T4 airport on June 3 and Syrian Army positions east of the Golan Heights on June 2.
This appears to be a strike to lift the spirits of the headchoppers, who are not faring well in Idlib. However, it is time Syria retaliate in a commensurate manner to deter more attacks. Russia, US and Israel normally coordinate these strikes and another meeting is due for next week. It is surprising that Syria is kept out of tripartite loop and that only emboldens the Israelis. Syria should decide to retaliate on its own.

Israel can’t stop Palestinian and Hezbollah rockets. They’re certainly not going to be able to stop on target Syrian barrages like the one the hit 10 IDF locations inthe Golan last year.
Syrian forces are spread out on multiple fronts and Turkey is basically allied with Israel and doing its bidding in Syria by continuing to fan terrorism. If Turkey stopped funding the terrorists and let Syria stabilize, then the SAA can handle Israel.

Syria should win the war and participate in a regional coalition consisting of Israel’s neighbors and others armed with nuclear weapons that neither Israel or NATO are gong to go up against. And the SCO and related projects should be at a state of development to provide an alternative to US and NATO economic terrorism to prevent it from having an effect against coalition members.

I don’t think this will happen any more. There is a report in en.farsnews.com that Russia demanded Erdogan to withdraw their Terrorists, but Erdogan strongly turned down the demand and instead ordered the terrorists to reinforce their position. I can not imagine that Russia will put up with that.
