The Israeli Navy has successfully test-fired the LRAD long-range interceptor which was especially designed to counter “advanced” cruise missile
On November 30, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) and Ministry of Defense said in a joint statement that a Sa’ar 6-class corvette INS Magen successfully test-fired the LRAD missile earlier this month. The warship launched the missile after detecting a “target that resembled an advanced cruise missile” and destroyed it. A video of the test was released.
The LRAD missile, which is part of the multi-layered Barak MX air defense system, was developed by the Israeli Aerospace Industries and the Israeli Defense Ministry’s research and development division, that is known by the Hebrew acronym MAFAT.
The interceptor missile has a maximum range of 70 kilometers and a flight ceiling of 20 kilometers. It is equipped with an active radar seeker and a two-way datalink for midcourse updates.
The missile was developed to engage several aerial threats including warplanes, drone, cruise missiles, unguided rockets, and costal-defense missiles.
“The system constitutes a significant layer in the air defense capabilities of the Navy, in achieving naval superiority and its involvement in the IDF’s aim of overcoming a variety of threats and scenarios from the sea and the coast,” the Israeli military and defense ministry said in their statement.
Israel has been working nonstop to boost the air defense capabilities of its naval forces. Earlier this month, the ship mounted version of the Iron Dome air defense system, dubbed C-Dome, entered service with the Israeli Navy after a successful test.
Each of Israel’s four new Sa’ar 6-class corvettes is equipped with 40 vertical launch cells for C-Dome interceptors and 16 others for LRAD interceptors. The corvettes will guard Israel’s natural gas rigs and protect the country’s vital commercial shipping lanes.

Loose cannons.

The US air defence system Patriot on the paper is good and ofc it passed tests by the US department of defence. But is it any good on real battleground? Hell no.
I still can’t believe an old S-200 missile pass all the Zionists air defence systems and landed which then Zionists find out a missile landed near their nuclear plant. The funnies part is how they always try to cover up their fuk up with more BS.
Ah the Khazar monkeys are playing out their mock war games, I wonder, how effective is one missile against a 1000 cheap Iranian drones homing in on your warship?
Ha Ha ha – Israel trying to defeat anti anti ship missile from Iran or the Hezb, when the Iranians are already onto Hypersonics.BTW Israel has no answer yet to , Irans and hezbollah’s most advanced nuclear capable carrier killer, the 20 year old mach 3.5, Sunburn missile. These monkeys are toast
