Tel Aviv ignores that Iranian forces will not participate in this operation and clearly signals that the defeat of militants in southern Syria is an unwelcomed scenario for Israel.

There is an undeclared war between Iran and Israel, the only reason the Daraa offensive can go foreward is because Iran has been excluded. If foreign pressure mounts for Iran to leave Syria, Putin and Assad may oblige and sack Tehran in order to make peace. Fact is that any little dispute or unrelated conflict elsewhere can and probably will shatter the fragile Damascus/Moscow/Tehran alliance.
