Rabbi Mikhail Finkel was invited on TV to express his opinion on the current situation in Ukraine. His claims surprised the interviewers who supposed him to whitewash the Kiev regime. The Rabbi and political scientist Mikhail Finkel decided to remind those sitting in the studio that only under President Zelensky, Ukraine voted against Israel at the UN and signed anti-Israel resolutions 36 times. He reminded the audience who are the modern heroes of Ukraine:

Their heroes are Petlyura, who killed 200 thousand Jews. This is Shukhevych – this is an SS man, this is Bandera! This is Stetsko, who said that all Jews should be destroyed, Yaroslav Stetsko. This is Khmelnitsky, who killed 300 thousand Jews.
Every year in Kiev, there was a parade of the SS division “Galicia” and our Foreign Ministry protested against it. This is scum, this is a neo-Nazi regime, de jure.
I say so, half of my family was killed by Banderites and Petliuravites in the Petliura’s pogroms!
These are the heroes of Ukraine, monuments are erected to them, streets are named after them.
This is not Russian propaganda, but the words of the Israeli Foreign Ministry. We have said many times, our ambassador in Kiev said: Bandera is not a hero, but a criminal!
