On October 24, warplanes of the Israeli Air Forces struck the town of Ad-Dimas located west of the capital city of Damascus. The target of the Israeli military was an armament depot and a workshop for the production of drones reportedly belonging to the pro-Iranian forces.
The Syrian Defense Ministry claims that the country’s air defense forces managed to shoot down several missiles. However, one of them managed hit a military facility. One serviceman was injured as a result of the explosion. The information on the damage to the facility is yet to be provided.
Israel resumed its attacks on Syria on October 21, by targeting several military positions on the outskirts of the capital of Damascus. Four F-16 fighter jets of the Israeli Air Force launched the attack from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.
On October 22, less than 24 hours after the Israeli attack, a series of explosions rocked the U.S.-led coalition Green Village base in the al-Omar oil fields in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
