Isreali Air Force Strikes Syrian Army Artillery Pieces And Battle Tanks In Quneitra Province

FILE IMAGE

The Israeli military announced on Saturday that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) destroyed undefined number of artillery pieces, battle tanks belonging to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the Syrian province of Quneitra.

The Israeli claimed in a statement that 10 shells fired from the Syrian side had fallen in the Golan Heights and the airstrikes were a response to this. Hoever, Israel didn’t say that the SAA had fired the shells.

Since the Saturday morning, Al-Bath city in Quneitra has been under an attack from Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) and its allies.

Many pro-government source reported that HTS and some Free Syrian Army groups have repeatedly open fire on the Israeli-held territory in order to provoke Israeli military strikes on the SAA .

Israel argues that only the SAA has a responsibility of any firing on the Israeli-held areas. Many believe that this Israel policy is clearly sided and aimed at supporting of terrorist groups fighting against the SAA on the Golan Heights front.

Gonçalo Pena

where is the AA system?

Colin Oskapy

And how long is Syria gonna take this sort of crap from the arrogant pro-Jihadist Zionists ?

Brad Isherwood

To bad Hezbollah and Syria are hesitant to strike Israel. A co ordinated missile strike could overwhelm their vaunted Iron Dome Afterwards….it’s like the national horror of Lebanon 2006 and destroyed Merkava tanks.

Your Bad day is coming for sure Israhell.

John Brown

Once ISIS etc are crushed then they can hit Israel and Israel knows it and is terrified.

paulgilpin

explain to me how ISIS is going to be crushed. they are embedded with the american foreign legion. israel knows full well, that any reprisal will be met by the american foreign legion.

John Brown

Its already happening in Iraq and Syria. Yes Israel and its slave the USA will move ISIS to Afganistan the phillipines etc. but soon the USA and EU economies will collapse and with them the world wide racist surpremacist Jewish global empire and then the ISIS will die.

Luigi

Israel is already pushing Gaza to an unsustainable situation in order to force a new war against Hamas, which will probably also involve Hezbollah as well.

Derapage

Hamas and Hezbollah don’t get along very well.

Luigi

I agree. However, Hamas, as a Sunni organization with strong ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, was mainly supported by Qatar. Since the fall of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and now the blockade imposed by S.A. and allies to Qatar, Hamas is beeing forced to seek cooperation with Shiite organizations and with Iran. That doesnt mean Hesbollah will come to help it in case of need, but Israel will use that as another reason to force a new war against them both.

Brad Isherwood

Israel helped create Hamas with the Wheelchair Sheik. Israel attacked Yasser Arafats compound in Gaza…running him of to the West Bank. West Bank had Trickster Palestinians like Saeb Erekat and Hanan Ashrawi Who did public debate and UN game….while selling out the Palestinians. Hamas networked with Muslim Brotherhood In Egypt ….which secretly US/MI6 supported.

888mladen .

Later on they killed him cause his mission was over just to wish him fare well and immortalize his name.

Stephen

Not only Hezbollah but Syria, Russia and Iran too. Palestinians are fighting for liberation of Syria from proxies of Zionist Ezrahel.

paulgilpin

you know full well that would result in a redo of the US going into iraq 2003. ivanka would cry in the oval office, and trump would go ballistic. actually, it would be kushner doing the crying. i digress.

Ma_Laoshi

Israel acts as if it doesn’t have a care in the world, Russia acts (if at all) as if it’s scared to death. I don’t see how your conclusions are avoidable but don’t count on people here to like it. Doesn’t automatically mean that Israel will get everything it wants though.

paulgilpin

my apology. i can tell by your comment, that you think that i want that to happen. nothing could be further from the truth. if you think people here would not like it, i would hate it. my sarcasm and cynicism are often mis-interpreted. again my apology.

Ma_Laoshi

No I got your sarcasm and cynicism just fine I guess; it’s often the best language for sober assessments. “Want to happen” doesn’t come into it, this is not weekend sports. It is, I think, about studying who has power, and learning from how they acquire and keep it. It’s still the usual suspects by far.

John Brown

They likely fired their missiles from Israeli air space at a high altitude as it is right beside the Golan. Even stingers would not work. If Israel keeps it up so it significantly influences the war in Quenetra, Russia will have to shoot down Israeli planes over Israeli air space when they do this which is probably what Israel wants as they are desperate to send their Goyim (slave American soldiers, stupid animal beasts to die in Israel’s wars as Henry Kissinger said) for war.

Bru

even worse, Golan is actually Syrian territory invaded by the Zionist imperialists during their infamous 6 days surprise war of conquest

John Whitehot

lololol, take a look of where Quneitra is on the map.

Of course they did their “airstrikes” from within Israeli airspace. O course the jihadists are so close of being kicked back into Israel that they now fire their arty on it, in order to elicit some air support from them.

Pathetic, to the last of them.

Ma_Laoshi

One can call it pathetic but clearly Israelis don’t mind being crafty. Can the other side even learn from that?

John Whitehot

It does not make good to your international credibility and overall reputation as a country if you behave like that.

At some point Israel will have to become reasonable.

Ma_Laoshi

In a world which is largely fear-based, “reputation” may still mean foremost: we WILL kill you if you mess with us. Israelis got that part down cold, and don’t lack for balls. Sadly, these may be the “values” the West will bequeath to China when they become top dog. It will all change with the erosion of Western economic/financial dominance, though our kosher partners are ahead of the curve with Asian buy-in.

It will change more when Americans stop making Israel the center of their spiritual universe, for that’s not something you can just relocate to Beijing. Good luck! Americans still gobble that stuff up, also on these pages.

If fully agree: if Israel felt as threatened as they pretend to be when playing on the purse strings, they’d accept something like the Arab Peace Plan pronto. Having it all is sweet, but security + prosperity would be consolation prizes most others can only dream of. I just no longer see this as being around the corner, and many here don’t like me for pointing that out.

Pave Way IV

There is no Syria air defense system any more on the southwest border, Gonçalo Pena. One of the first things Israel did early in the war was to send IDF mercs/head-choppers to take over and destroy all the air defense and surveillance sites along the Golan border. Syria had them in dozens of hills at or near the UNDOF zone (Israeli land-theft border guarded by the UN for them). Kind of strange considering the ‘rebels’ didn’t have any aircraft that these sites would threaten.

This was actually a pretty robust air defense line against Israel back in the day built with the expected soviet air defense missiles and radar. It would have been of less significance now because of stand-off aerial weapons, but it still irritated the Israelis to no end. The head-choppers seemed to have a particularly keen interest in taking over those well-fortified sites as soon as the revolt started. I’m sure it had to do with money/arms from Israel to the head-choppers. The FSA was mostly useless for taking down the sites. Al Nusra was ’employed’ and supplied with TOWs (and probably chemical weapons) for the job.

Israel has no intention of ever letting Syria rebuild that air defense line. In fact, Israel wants to extend their Golan land-theft a few dozen km further into Syria specifically so Israel can use those exact same air defense hills for surveillance and missile attacks against Syria. It’s the same reason Israel wants Mt. Hermon – it would provide a good vantage point for spying on Syria and launching missiles at Damascus.

Solomon Krupacek

you did not understand him

Brad Isherwood

Syria have BUK M2, Iran has RAAD https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raad_(air_defense_system)

Both could surprise IAF if positioned properly. Hezbollah, ….Do they have access to RAAD,…if so….IAF roaming over The Lebanon could Have the bad day.

Ma_Laoshi

… and then in a couple years those extended borders will have become the new normal and the land inside them–Israel in most senses that count. So they’ll need a buffer around *that* to protect themselves from “terror”. I’m sure President Michelle Obama will happily oblige. As if people don’t know how the game is played after seeing it for decades in the West Bank, with Sharon and Bibi repeatedly gloating over it.

Putting them on a leash with a firm “the more you misbehave, the more of Golan you’re going to lose” — it’d make Israelis’ heads explode. As if they were human with the rest of us after all. Though let’s be fair, the Kremlin can’t bring itself to deal with Turkish common criminals in such a way either.

John Whitehot

there is in fact an interview of Syrian President Assad detailing how in the first days of “peaceful demonstrations”, moderate and democratic protesters attacked (spontaneously, of course lol) a large number of air defence units of the Syrian Army.

Stephen

Those moderate and democratic protesters were from Zionist Ezrahel.

Samuel Boas

There (((they))) go again….

Lupus

First of all, Golan is Syria territory. Scnd, it was clear from the beginning that Israel is highly responsible for the massacre in Syria. Israël = terrorist state in my view

adam77

Agree, Israel is terrorist and deserves to die; but only recently for banning abortion, as does Syria, Iran and Lebanon. I hope they all kill each other to reduce the population.

Bill Kilgore

Meanwhile in Saudi Arabia http://www.newnationalist.net/2017/06/24/muhammad-bin-salman-extreme-bad-actor-now-in-charge-of-saudi-arabia/

Brad Isherwood

The Israeli military said several projectiles fired from Syria “hit an open area” in the northern Golan Heights. No injuries were reported.

Calling the incident an “unacceptable violation of Israeli sovereignty,” IDF aircraft targeted the “origin of launches and two Syrian tanks”.(excerpt – Israeli warplanes target /RT)

Israel occupied Golan is illegal under UNSCR…. It isn’t Israel’s Sovereign territory ( Terror- tory )…. ……lying Jews Never Sanctions on Israel over the decades as some 30+ UN condemnation votes against Israel have occured.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

We have Saudi Arabia imploding and a looming pending civil war there if they find out is dead and Bandar has been murdered and Israel has sent jets there and they want to start more than they can handle . The US/Israel disappeared Bandar and will blame this on Iran and Syrian “Proxies” they are trying to set a stage here the manager is busy, everyone shhhh!

Ma_Laoshi

Though in all fairness, wouldn’t disappearing Bandar be mostly a good thing? And Israel getting behind the wheel in Riyadh, like with the demand that Qatar ditch Hamas, is much like their Yankee partners installing themselves in Kiev. The adversaries of these two may be lacking in imagination; clear is best if they’re ever to catch on.

paul

I hope I live to see a time when these events will be answered in full and retribution will not be restrained. When this time comes I will rejoice.

CyricRenner

So do most people. Everyone is so tired of Israel and their actions. When the US falls, specifically the US dollar, no one will come to their defense.

Solomon Krupacek

this attack was east or west from Euphrates?

Jesus

The attack was carried out from Israeli airspace close to Golan heights. Israel has been warned by Russia and Syria that in case of any unauthorized air incursions over Syria, Haifa will be attacked with Scud missiles.

Solomon Krupacek

and? were attacked not syrian soldiers? in the first hours after russan statement i wrote exatly in my comment, that most of atack come from ourside of syria. you and your brothers in stupidity barkad again. and again you all look like stupid coyots. :) like shoygu.

Jesus

Solomon you are a silly, Israel is taking the ultimatum seriously, all it can do is use some standoff weapons that can be jammed easily by Russian EW. We know Israel is a terrorist enabler, so what did they destroy? A tank and another vehicle? The time will come when the Russians will teach them a lesson on how to behave as they did to the Americans, shooting down a quarter billion dollar drone.

CyricRenner

It might have to come under a new Russian President. My hope is Putin stands down next election. All the leading candidates taking a much firmer hand against these Zionist criminals. Putin has some type of agreement with Bibi. Believe it or not, but his power in Russia is not absolute. He purged a lot of the Jewish Oligarchs, but much of their power still remains, particularly where the Russian central bank is concerned. People like Elvira Nabiullina who actively works against Russia’s national interest. If Putin is the dictator like so many claim that he has, why has he not fired her and replaced her with his own man ?

No, even Putin has to walk a fine line. In addition, the fact that Russia has good relations with religious/orthodox Jews is something that I hope continues. These people are not the enemy. In fact they are often held hostage by the Khazarian Crime Syndicate that controls much of the world. I doubt the people of Israel have any more control of the actions their governments take then do those of us living in the western world. It seems their elections are equally meaningless.

Ma_Laoshi

Yes. Depending on how you count, the Putin era has now been something like 18 years. Odds are that anything he was ever going to do, he has done by now–has that rule ever been broken? And the status quo is not good enough for Russia. If he’d ever become a Kremlin Mugabe, feebly grasping at the throne, he’d squander his earned place in history.

Ma_Laoshi

Reality seems to be that, partly *because* Israel has that kind of tech, they’re a closer Russian ally than is Syria. Sun Tzu cautions us that our assessments be as sober as can be.

Expo Marker

The Israeli regime sited that the attack breached their national sovereignity.

The same regime denying rights to Palestine, recognised by 136 UN members.

Worst of all, this happened in Israeli occupied Golan heights.

goingbrokes

It really is a joke, isn’t it? We all, everybody, need to wake up to the fact that Israel regards it is a special case in every conceivable instance, no international law applies to it, no one else’s sovereignty matters, and only Israel is allowed to have a state defined by race/ethnicity. And western librtards support this even though it would be condemned as criminal anywhere else on the planet. Come on, grow up humanity and stop kowtowing to bullshit!

John Whitehot

in the end, the US has a thing of two to learn on exceptionalism from Israel.

sagbotgamot

signs israel is nervous… their greater Israel vision not going to happen.

gustavo

It looks like more that Israel is protecting its creatures (ISIS-Daesh) from syrian army, and the russian ? Well, remember that USA-NATO-Israel can do whatever they want against the Syria government and army. Although, Russia has pinated another red line (how many red lines have been painted so far ?, I do not remember).

Rodney Loder

Everybody’s complaining about these dirty little thriving jews but no one minds the homeboy Sid Loder donating me to israel.

Attrition47

The zionist filth aren’t Jews you div, they’re zionists.

Rodney Loder

Zionism was invented by Sir Mark Sykes, the sixth baronet of Sledmere, who took an insignificant jewish faction and gave it the prominence of the British Foreign Office, however not one relevance of that development is mentioned in the Holy Scriptures of the Torah or Gospels, so it’s meaningless. Greek mythology is only incredible because God is credible because He impounded Himself into our narrative of Scripture. The Qur’an holds that the Jews broke their covenant with God but were given two chances to redeemed themselves, and that the Samaritans were evil in Biblical times, Sura 20 , verse 85 Yusuf Ali translation. The Samaritan Torah was in a different dialectic and is almost identical to the modern Hebrew Torah translated by (P) Ezra that the Jews never recognised to hide the fact the their Torah was not the original. All these above mentioned facts accepted by 90% of Theologists prove that Scriptures are our narrative that God validates His existence in our live by imposition, which is seeming unfair, but if it weren’t for that diabolical re-reversed psychology there would be no difference between the perverse analysis of the homosexual Sid Loder claiming to be Jesus Christ and me claiming to be Isa Son of Maryium, Sid Loder can have the God dammed Christians, and he’s welcome to to them.

joe doe

Syria needs better weapons including Air Defense System and military hardware T-55 and SU-22 will not do the job

Brad Isherwood

The opps in Daraa are not timely…..SAA and Shia Militias should be pushing thru FSA west Of Al Tanf, ….even money there are few FSA and they would get rolled over in days. Daraa opps were slow, …giving Jordan/Israel time to set up and zero in. SAA lost several tanks as they were sitting static. IAF probably had the SAA military assets painted so as to make the strike 100 over 100.

Stephen

The projectiles dropped in the Syrian land called Golan Heights. Ezraheli shouldn’t be worried about that. But when Ezraheli planes targeted the Syrian positions and 2 Syrian tanks then this is the violation of Syrian sovereignty.

Pave Way IV

Israel and Syria are still technically at war, Stephen. The attack is a violation of the existing truce, but the UN would never enforce that against Israel. Actually, Israeli presence in the Golan is a violation of Syrian sovereignty and the UN agrees. Ever see any sanctions against Israel? Of course not. UN laws are never enforced against Israel and never will be.

Attrition47

They will when American Caesar deems it expedient.

Stephen

UN laws are never enforced against Israel and never will be. Because Ezrahel is a cancer and it has infacted whole world including US and UNO. The US all government departments are hijacked by Ezraheli son of bitches.

Solomon Krupacek

you lies again. only in the last year 3 times were un resolition against israli occupation of golan height

Pave Way IV

You’re 36 years off on that one, Krups:

United Nations Security Council resolution 497, adopted unanimously on 17 December 1981, declared that the Israeli Golan Heights Law, which effectively annexed the Golan Heights, is “null and void and without international legal effect” and further calls on Israel to rescind its action.

Wiki

Solomon Krupacek

troll, wiki against officials resolutions???

Pave Way IV

https://www.un.org/Docs/scres/1981/scres81.htm Try again, Kurps.

RamboDave

And ….the reason the UN resolutions are not enforced is because the US either veto’s, or threatens to veto, any sanctions or any punishment directed against Israel. The US has used it’s veto dozens of times to protect Israel since the Golan was stolen from Syria. That is why it is important for everyone to support the BDS movement (Boycott, Sanctions, Divestment) against Israel, to make them pay a price for breaking the law, and stealing someone else’s land.

Ma_Laoshi

Because the US is committed and others are not. Fume all you want, but learn what it takes to be successful.

Each provocation gets more blatant than the one before. They are really getting desperate.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Neither Russia or Syria can act without drawing the US into the conflict and this is what this is about , they are getting desperate in their actions . The US is trying to legitimize their presence in Syria along with Israel , they want a told you so moment so they can say” see !” . They are trying to stir up support with the Kurds in Afrin after they have been attacking Turkey backed FSA on 2 fronts saying that Russia and Syria intend them harm which is a pure fantasy on the whole . The Public Relations firm is getting really bad since this is the exact same scenario created in the Balkans in the 90’s ,reminds me of a time old saying “fool us once shame on us , fool us twice shame on you !”. My guess if the plan worked once they decided to use it again and why all the references to the Balkans in the 90’s . The Syrian fronts are working well on achieving their goals , Daara was execute too late to be effective the others are having major successes despite of the setbacks there . Israel is well aware of their actions in regards to missiles being pointed at them so why they are not going to overplay their hand while other P.R. work is being done in the rest of Syria . The US has been losing some of their EQ drones in Syria what they have done so far is keep quiet , since this would get a response from congress . Their actions at clutching at straws for some piece of hope or their bid to create their vision is dwindling , they built a fragile house of cards which seems to be wobbling and falling apart now . The end game is till not finished yet , so grab your popcorn .

Ma_Laoshi

Though in fairness the golden propaganda rule is “if you cannot convince, confuse”. My own experience with Europeans is that that 2nd defense line is easily holding and Uncle Sam still has the sheep in line. Europeans have by now lost hundreds of people to terror attacks caused by US/Saudis/Israel. Has there been even a single protest against these actors? It is what it is, all these years of “US = dumb lolz” and they’re still getting away with it.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Many of the sheep are standing up and taking a different stance right now . This might be good trend in the long run it could change the economic power and Geo-political structures .

Ma_Laoshi

No contest except perhaps about the pace of the changes–law of inertia and all that. To shatter the inertia may require a level of carnage we shouldn’t wish for prematurely.

I am going to go with that this is a sign of weakness by Israel. It accomplished nothing and is just an annoyance on the scale of what is happening. Sooner or later, all of the other needs are going to be quenched and much more attention with be focused over in the Golan neck of the woods.

With regards to Israel, it has become pretty clear whom they are supporting. They are in bed with the KSA and anybody they are bankrolling, is to be supported and protected. It is fine. Sooner or later, it will be common day official knowledge that Israel, as well as the rest of them, supported AQ and the whole pack of head choppers. The wages of this will be heavy, it will earn no mercy for Israel from the wheels of time. It is only a matter of process before this comes to roost on the heads of the State of Israel. As with most of my follow Americans, I will go with the point of view that vast majority of rank and file Israeli citizens, have no idea the Zionist culture has dragged them so low. I wish well to all.
