AlMasdarNews reports: The jihadist civil war taking place inside the Idlib Governorate has intensified recently after Jund Al-Aqsa (Syrian Al-Qaeda franchise) pledged allegiance to Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front) this past weekend.
Following Jund Al-Aqsa’s pledge, Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham joined their allies against Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham inside the town of Tahtaya near the large city of Ma’arat Al-Nu’man.
According to Jund Al-Aqsa’s social media wing, their forces, alongside Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham, stormed Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham’s base at Tahtaya, resulting in a long battle on Monday.
Despite the ongoing battle at Tahtaya, Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham has vowed to not to retaliate against their main jihadist ally, Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham, in the Idlib Governorate.
that’s really the intention of washington and tel aviv… having arabs kill each other with the help of arabs themselves like saudi, qatar, kuwait etc..
Yes…but not like this and not yet. The plan is to build up Islamic extremists into an enemy that poses such a threat to everyone that they can rally them all under some kind of alliance to defeat them, and through this alliance take control of them, much like was done with the USSR and NATO. NATO members became so comfortable in their relationship that it is hard for hem to break away even when it no longer benefits them.
I realise that sounds strange, given their reluctance to work with the Russians, which would seem to fit the program,. but the problem is that a.) the terrorists aren’t strong enough yet, and other nations, especially nations like Russia, aren’t weak enough yet, so it’s too early to actually kill off the terrorists. They need everyone to feel genuinely menaced and dependent. If they kill them all off now, they have no leadership position, no fear to exploit to establish real control.
