So far, Russian forces have destroyed 3,687 objects of the military infrastructure of Ukraine, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence. In response to the aggressive informational warfare of the Ukrainian side, Russian military officials are now actively sharing the footage of the ongoing military operation, showing their victories.
After Russian forces secured the airspace over Ukraine, the mass deployment of the Russian UAVs became possible. The drones that are deployed in the operations in Ukraine carry out reconnaissance, fire correction, as well as the combat use of weapons of destruction against targets.
The Russian Army deploys various types of UAVs in Ukraine, including modernized Orlan UAVs with improved optics, Forpost-R, as well as Inohodets attack UAVs.

“The unmanned aerial vehicle is designed to destroy single stationary, mobile and moving ground objects, conduct aerial and optoelectronic reconnaissance,” the description of the Forpost-R sample, exhibited at the Army-2021 forum, said.
On March 11, another video was released by the Russian Ministry of Defence showing the Russian strike UAV Forpost which hit a fortified stronghold of Ukrainian forces from about 4 thousand meters with high-precision ammunition.
Another video shared online on March 13 shows a high-precision strike by the Russian Iskander missile at the AFU command post in the Kharkiv region.

Another video was reportedly made by the Russian reconnaissance drone on the southern outskirts of Izyum where fighting continues for several days. It shows the Smerch MLRS missile strikes on the UAF .

Another video shows a pinpoint strike on a civilian house which Ukrainian soldiers used as a warehouse. The footage was reportedly made in the Kiev region.
Losses in the Russian UAVs are also reported.
Another Russian Forpost UAV was shot down in the Zhytomyr region on March 12.

You clearly have no idea how ground strikes work. You do not pay attention to the camera ”cross hairs”, that’s just a camera. Just cuz the camera was focused elsewhere doesn’t mean the real target (usually laser designated or using Glonass) was missed. On the other hand, onboard targeting instruments will show a direct hit like you’d expect.
I think even the Russian brass admitted that there were some mistakes made. But Russia will learn from them. The country now has a lot of recent combat experience in different theatres. Drones are the future of warfare, I agree with you on that. But as the song says, even when jets are lost jet fighters never die.

As it shows Ukrainian civilians that the fortified urban positions of Asov Nationalists can be hit with precision, and won’t require blanket artillery fire to dislodge.
