On July 5th, authorities in a city in the Chinese region of Inner Mongolia have issued a warning after a hospital reported a case of suspected bubonic plague.

The health committee of the city of Bayan Nur issued the third-level alert. “Third-level” is actually the 2nd lowest degree in a four-step system, making “first-level” the highest.
The bubonic plague, known as the “Black Death” in the Middle Ages, comes from the bacterium, Yersinia pestis, and is a highly infectious and often fatal disease spread mostly by rodents via fleas.
It killed between 75 and 200 million people in the 14th century, and at least 30 to 50 million from the year 541 to 549.
According to the WHO website, the lung-based pneumonic plague is extremely contagious and “can trigger severe epidemics through person-to-person contact via droplets in the air”.
Symptoms include fever, chills, vomiting and nausea.
If it is not immediately treated, it’s fatal in 90% of cases.
This is not the first time that cases of the plague were reported in China, with there officially being 26 cases and 11 deaths between 2009 and 2018.
China’s state-owned Global Times also reported on the case of bubonic plague.

It should also be noted that the United States actually has more cases than China of bubonic plague each year between 1970 and 2018.
In recent decades, an average of seven human plague cases have been reported each year. The range is 1-17, with 17 being reported in 2006, and 16 in 2015. In 2015 there were 4 deaths from it.

Thats why WHO should be more sober and as now infected by the Chinese. Its the same for American dominance.
Pest is almost gone but that and other infections has to handled well and hard and better.

Its terrifying what we have seen and see about Covid.
Elementary knowledge and accept of many Years fight against virus and bacterias has been replaced by stupidies of the worst kind.
Its 1) spreading out, so we dont infect each other and 2) finding whats making it and isolate that and 3) Lower the less and less contiminated part and under that find treatments, which at least can save some. It makes no sense with vaccine if the 2% old ones for Covid already are dead. By that its also not abput the 98% which decide, that because they dont die, they think its ok their grandparents do.

people have, always will be susceptible to contagious diseases–bacteria and viruses mutate and become more virulent…this derives from industrial pollution, ubiquitous consumption of medicines, industrial food, mobile populations, etc
There is actually three forms of plague. Two forms, septicemic and bubonic plague are transmitted by fleas to humans and rarely human to human. Pneumonic plague Is transmitted human to human as it is airborne. Untreated, bubonic is fatal 50% while septicemic and pneumonic are 90 to 95% fatal untreated. Pneumonic if treated is still often fatal, around 50%.
Plague is carefully monitored and tracked to prevent epidemics and this story is really a non-event – a few cases are reported every year so nothing out of the ordinary and the title is click bait.
