Kata'ib Hezbollah Praises Taji Attack Without Claiming Responsibility For It

Iraq’s Kata’ib Hezbollah (KH) has praised the recent attack on U.S.-led coalition troops in the Camp Taji without claiming responsibility for it.

In an official statement released on March 12, the Iraqi Shiite group said U.S. forces should bear responsibility of its illegal presence in Iraq. The group also warned that U.S. insults to the integrity of Iraqi people will not go unpunished.

“We renew our request to the brothers who believe in acting against the occupying forces at this stage to reveal themselves in order to preserve their history and their sacrifices and to ward off the suspicions, and we affirm that we will defend them,” the statement reads.

At least 15 small rockets fired from an improvised truck-mounted launcher struck Camp Taji on March 11. The attack claimed the lives of three U.S.-led coalition personnel, two Americans and a British.

Despite not claiming responsibility for the attack, KH said in its statement that “it is just the right time for patriotic and popular forces to resume their jihad operations to expel the villains and aggressors from this holy land.”

Earlier, Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Camp Taji attack was “most likely” conducted by a Shiite militia group, adding that KH is the only group known to have conducted an indirect fire attack on this scale against the U.S.-led coalition forces in Iraq.

KH’s statement was clearly meant as a response to Gen. McKenzie accusations, which appear to be motivated by a political agenda.

These small scale harassment attacks are not by any iraqi forces. Mostly likely ISIS types..

verner

or by mossad/cia to force the disunited states of A(ggression) to respond with force and kill more women and more children – the jews don’t care one way or the other (compare madeleine albright (alnight) a few years back on the issue of 500000 dead iraqi children)

Melville Pouwels

seriously…”most likely” to have fired the missiles? thats all america & allies need

verner

it’s of little importance who fired the missiles/rockets – the one important thing is that they were fired and that white trash from the fly over states were hit.

Paul Sharpe

That is shit verner. Many soldiers are poor and people of colour. Keep your bullshit politics to yourself.

verner

nah, the white trash from the fly over states are just that, white trash, under educated and cheated by the washington dc elite and paid badly to offer up their lives for the cheating elite reaping the dividends from the perpetual wars washington dc is running. you, paul dullard, are probably obese and deceived to the last inch of ýour useless life.

goingbrokes

We’re all white trash, verner. This is not your usual quality, this comment, it seems overly harsh.

Last time when one American soldier was killed. About 50 of the Iranian militias were killed and after a few days the hero of the revolution and a few others were killed. This time 3 soldiers were killed. Apparently, the mullahs regime needed a diversion from the Corona crisis. It will be very ugly for the Iranian militias in the area in the coming days.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

Yeah sure, but you are banking on the Iranians not stepping up to the challenge of their rival.

Which is a distinct possibility.

They aren’t simply going to let the Anglo-Zionist Sunnistan get created without severe fisty-cuffs!

Free man

The Americans are currently bombarding positions of the Iranian militias in Iraq and Syria. I don’t think the Iranians will respond . They use their cannon fodder.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

I guess you thought the Iranians wouldn’t respond to the assassination of Soleimani too?

Iran and the U.S. are at war in the region, Iran hasn’t got anywhere to go, but the U.S. though has… Home.

Free man

Even though I think the Americans should leave Iraq, the Iranians will do nothing but bark. The Iranians gave the Americans a few hours’ warning before firing their missiles last time.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

And what was the result 100+ brain injuries. (perhaps a euphemism?)

Free man

Yes.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

Not sure where the U.S. strike jets flew out from, (some reports of UAE or Kuwait) but I’d imagine that if that country is in range of Iranian or proxy retaliation, it will get it.

Free man

Probably from the Gulf states.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

Well they’ve just facilitated an act of war against Iraq and Iran… I’d call that a party to a war.

Free man

They are already at war. I think Iran just wants to harass the US, but it can deteriorate.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

Oh, it probably will… I would not at all be surprised if the U.S. Embassy within Iraq gets leveled.

Dick Von Dast'Ard

With the U.S. financial system in crisis, excellent time for Iran to really hit back at the occupation forces.

Trump won’t be able to cope with two crisis at once.

the demise of anglo mercenaries should be celebrated….the famous amerikan fear of death is frequently displayed by the uncivilized amerikan poster—they love fake “body counts”

US occupation force hates Kataib Hezbollah because they have no access to their plans and management. Iraqi regular Army is has no independence or secrets from US forces, and that was the real reason why iraqis did so badly against Daesh in the beginning, their every operation was hampered by subterfuge from US “advisors”. Moles more like. KH doesn’t have this handicap, and that was why they have been so effective. US wants them disbanded, but it ain’t gonna happen. They are “POPULAR Mobilisation Units” after all. Popular, like democracy, right?

Albert Pike

Not very clever to say thank you for a false flag attack…
