Iraq’s Kata’ib Hezbollah (KH) has praised the recent attack on U.S.-led coalition troops in the Camp Taji without claiming responsibility for it.
In an official statement released on March 12, the Iraqi Shiite group said U.S. forces should bear responsibility of its illegal presence in Iraq. The group also warned that U.S. insults to the integrity of Iraqi people will not go unpunished.
“We renew our request to the brothers who believe in acting against the occupying forces at this stage to reveal themselves in order to preserve their history and their sacrifices and to ward off the suspicions, and we affirm that we will defend them,” the statement reads.
At least 15 small rockets fired from an improvised truck-mounted launcher struck Camp Taji on March 11. The attack claimed the lives of three U.S.-led coalition personnel, two Americans and a British.
Despite not claiming responsibility for the attack, KH said in its statement that “it is just the right time for patriotic and popular forces to resume their jihad operations to expel the villains and aggressors from this holy land.”
Earlier, Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said Camp Taji attack was “most likely” conducted by a Shiite militia group, adding that KH is the only group known to have conducted an indirect fire attack on this scale against the U.S.-led coalition forces in Iraq.
KH’s statement was clearly meant as a response to Gen. McKenzie accusations, which appear to be motivated by a political agenda.
These small scale harassment attacks are not by any iraqi forces. Mostly likely ISIS types..

Last time when one American soldier was killed. About 50 of the Iranian militias were killed and after a few days the hero of the revolution and a few others were killed. This time 3 soldiers were killed. Apparently, the mullahs regime needed a diversion from the Corona crisis. It will be very ugly for the Iranian militias in the area in the coming days.

US occupation force hates Kataib Hezbollah because they have no access to their plans and management. Iraqi regular Army is has no independence or secrets from US forces, and that was the real reason why iraqis did so badly against Daesh in the beginning, their every operation was hampered by subterfuge from US “advisors”. Moles more like. KH doesn’t have this handicap, and that was why they have been so effective. US wants them disbanded, but it ain’t gonna happen. They are “POPULAR Mobilisation Units” after all. Popular, like democracy, right?
