Over the night of Septmber 4 and 5, Kiev forces attempted to attack Russian territory with heavy artillery rockets, aerial suicide drones and uncrewed suicide boats.
In a statement, the Russian Ministry of Defenses said that air defenses intercepted two Vilkha rockets along with two drones over the Belgorod region, three other drones over the Kursk region and an additional two drones over the region of Bryansk.
Two boats were also destroyed by Russian forces in the northeastern part of the Black Sea, it added, without clarifying the destination of the boats.
The ministry and Russian media didn’t report any casualties or material losses in Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk or any other region as a result of the failed Ukrainian attack.
Just a day earlier, the Russian military destroyed four boats launched by Kiev forces in the Black Sea. In addition, a Ukrainian rocket attack on a market in the capital of the Donetsk People’s Republic also killed three civilians, including two children, and left nine others wounded.
The Kiev regime intensified its attacks on Russian territory in the last few months, even launching an invasion into Kursk early last August. This escalation appears to be a desperate attempt to make up for Kiev’s neverending defeats in the special military operation zone.
The Russian military response to recent Ukrainian attacks, even those that didn’t result in any losses, will likely come very soon.
