After another “largest drone attack” on the Ukrainian capital, Kiev immediately promised to revenge. One of the most odious talking heads of the Kiev regime, the head of GUR Budanov menacingly threatened Moscow: “You will regret it very soon. Our response will not take long to wait. Wait, everyone will see everything soon.”
The hysteria of the Kiev officials betrays the fact that indeed important military targets were hit during the recent Russian strikes, since on the eve there were reports of the destruction of the second Patriot system in Kiev. As a result, the Ukrainian military has no choice but to carry out another “intimidation action” in order to regain strategically important positions in the MSM headlines.
Already on the morning of May 30, Ukrainian drones targeted Moscow. However, judging by the results of the attack, Kiev did not achieve any important successes.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported that eight aircraft-type drones were used during the Ukrainian attack. Of these, three were suppressed by means of electronic warfare, and five were shot down by an anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex Pantsir-S deployed in the Moscow region.

Three of the UAVs crashed in the multi-storey buildings. Moscow Mayor confirmed that the buildings received minor damage. Civilians were evacuated, none of them was heavily wounded. Two civilians were provided with medical assistance on the spot.
According to Russian media, at least one of the UAVs was equipped with a Soviet 1.8 kg of explosive device, designed for penetration of armor, reinforced concrete fences etc.

According to preliminary reports, Ukrainian forces used the UJ-22 Airborne UAV, created according to Western projects and technologies at the facilities of the Ukrjet company.

Despite the Kiev’s attempts to declare another fake victory, it is clear that the attack did not achieve any military results. It was aimed to gain some hype and terrorise the Russians. Even a larger attack of a swarm of UAVs could not disrupt the work of urban transport systems, water supply etc, of such a large megapolis. Moreover, such attacks have no impact on the ongoing hostilities on the Ukrainian front lines.
In its turn, Russia has a free hand to launch another wave of massive strikes in Kiev and any other region of Ukraine.
so what did that achieve? besides keeping the western/blackrock media happy? what will the payback from russia be? ouch and then more ouch.
generally attacks against a civilian population in wartime increase support for the war. what the ukies are doing with these drones is wildly counter productive. and really stupid. no material damage to speak of and stronger believe in the necessity of the smo among the russian population.
