The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) are attempting to enter the ISIS-controlled city of Manbij in Syria’s Aleppo province. Following a series of firefights, Kurdish YPG units, that operat under the SDF brand, entered Kitab Roundabout near Manbij, however they weren’t able to enter the strategic city.
Separately, the SDF took control of the villages of Shayh Nasir and Qurtwfan and launched ana advance in the direction of Al Jurniyah and Maz ash Shuwayhah crossroads.
