Kurdish YPG units, that operate under the brand of so-called ‘Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)’ have retaken the village of Sheikh Nasir from pro-Turkey militant groups in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo.
Sheikh Nasir was seized by Turkey-led forces last night but pro-Turkey militants failed to secure the area amid heavy clashes with Kurdish YPG forces and their allied Arab units from the SDF.
Pro-Turkey militants also failed to regain the village of Qabasin from ISIS.
Intent is to slowdown SDF tempo as more hardware is brought in for Turkish led forces.
