On Monday, pro-Turkish militants launched an advance against the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in the direction of Ayn Daqnah in the northern part of the Syrian province of Aleppo.
According to pro-Kurdish sources, the attack was supported by Turkish artillery units. The artillery shelling also targeted YPG positions in Herbel, Sheikh Issa and Tel Rifat.
The YPG repelled the first wave of the attack and allegedly killed 20 pro-Turkish militants and captured few vehicles. However, the fighting is still ongoing in the area.

Update is that at this moment Turkey is demanding (as in begging) of Russia to ask the SDF to stop fighting so the mercenaries can evacuate 15 wounded terrorists.
Imo SDF should only allow this if the terrorists will withdraw. Why give up a win to allow jihadi terrorists to be saved? They were not invited and can suffer the consequences of their actions.
Update is that Al Monitor reports that SDF has surrounded a group of terrorists incl some 15 wounded. SDF should not let them go unless they surrender their arms and Turkey agrees not to shell Afrin and SDF held lands.

The SDF and SAA should put aside their differences at lest for the time being and fight against the Turks. The USA on the long ran will betray the Kurds, so they should be wise how thy deal with Assad and the Russians. By the way the USA shot down the Syrian plane saying it was a danger to the SDF. USA therefore look at other solutions for some reducing Assads. In a way its like we see now by SDF and the total dominating Sekular kurdish top and a possibility for a kind of federation by a Counsil structure. Here You can get all in having a lot of local influenze and responsability taking away Damaskus 95% or – lets say – down to 50%.

There’s nothing wrong with Turkey attacking SDF. Turkey has been approved to be there by Assad. Russia is working with Turkey. SDF is the fifth column being used by the Americans to conquer and divide. SDF are the problem. They are just as bad as ISIS in my books.

You could be right. ISIS has always been used as an excuse for YPG and SDF militia creation and action and US intervention. They can move ISIS around like pieces on a chessboard.
