Ukrainian military column is neutralized in Kursk region
In the morning of August 6, forces of the Kiyv regime launched a large attack in the border area between the Sumy region and the Russian region of Kursk. The first wave of attack involved over 30 pieces of military equipment and 300 troops. The advance was accompanied by massive artillery and FPV drone strikes. At least 18 locals already became victims of Ukrainian attacks.

As of the evening of August 6, intense fighting is ongoing in Sudjansky and Korenevsky districts. Despite the losses of at least 16 pieces of military equipment and six battle tanks, units of the Kyiv regime continue attempts to develop the advance. Ukrainian sources claim that Kyiv is about to bring reinforcements to the attack. The likely goal is to expand the recent tactical gains and develop momentum in the Rylsk-Sudja line.
Units and equipment involved in the attack shows the real importance of advance for the Kyiv leadership. The attack employs NATO-trained mechanized brigades with a large number of various equipment, including US-supplied M2 Bradley IFVs. According to open sources, several thousand personnel of Kyiv’s forces participate in the operation, including UAV-operating units, air defense systems and detachments equipped with MANPADs. Russian sources say that the Ukrainian side paid special attention to electronic warfare, and the work of mobile evacuation groups and sabotage-reconnaissance groups.
Forces involved in the operation include, units of the Ukrainian Operational Command “North”. They previously were stationed along the border with Belarus.
The Russian military is also suffering casualties. In particular, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed a Ka-52 attack helicopter:

Kyiv’s forces claim that they were able to capture several compulsory-duty servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces. They were stationed near the border in Kursk region:
Pro-Kyiv sources claim that Ukrainian troops were able to enter the villages of Nikolaevo-Darino and Darino. One more point of the Kyiv offensive is the village of Oleshnya. Forward units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were spotted in the vicinity of the village of Nijny Klin, about 5km from the border. A Ukrainian military column were able to reach the Rilsk-Korneevo-Sudja road there before it was eliminated.
Summing up the developments, regular units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have entered the Russian border region and are trying to capture and hold positions there. Once again, the Kyiv leadership and its sponsors used buzz about “negotiations” to prepare for further escalation.
An interesting fact is that the approach chosen by the Ukrainian (NATO) command has several similarities with the failed attack on Belgorod region. Once again, Kyiv’s forces decided to attack several border points simultaneously, break the forward defense line of the Russian military and develop the advance using groups of infantry supported military equipment.
Both attacks took place amid the setbacks of the Kyiv regime on the battlefield of Donbass. This time the attack on the Russian border region is taking place as Ukrainian units are on the brink west of Gorlovka and in the sector northwest of Avdeevka.
In a large part of situations, the modern Ukrainian leadership is publicly trying and happy to mimic the Nazi Germany: from war crimes to official ideology promoting Nazi collaborators.
