Kyiv’s Forces Enjoy Freedom Of Shelling Residential Areas Of Donbass Amid Setbacks Around Slovyansk

Captured equipment of Kyiv’s forces

During the past few days, Kyiv’s forces significantly increased intensity of artillery strikes on residential areas of Donetsk, Gorlovka and Makeevka cities. Ukrainian units actively use artillery and rocket systems in intentional strikes on civilian areas from their positions in the countryside of these cities. Without the full elimination of positions of Kyiv’s forces in these areas, it is not possible to put an end to this terrorist activity. Thus, the Kyiv leadership and its forces use the time that it bought by sending their troops for slaughter in Severodonetsk-Lysichansk area to terrorize civilian population in the Donbass.

These developments come amid the slow but steady advance of Russian forces around Slavyansk and Severodonetsk.

As of the morning of June 7, Russian forces liberated the town of Svyatogorsk in the combat sector south of Izum and besieged Kyiv’s units in Bogorodichne and Tatyanovka. These towns as well as the nearby areas will likely be abandoned by Kyiv’s troops as their defense in the area is more and more focused on strong points created around Slovyansk and Kramatorks.

The situation remains tense in Severodonetsk and Lysichansk. Fighting continues in the industrial zone of Severodonetsk. Kyiv’s units made several attempts to counter-attack and break the tactical encirclement in which they have found themselves. Nonetheless, these counter-attacks resulted in no real changes of the frontline. If Russian units break the remaining defense of Kyiv’s forces in this area, the entire defense of Kyiv in the sector will collapse.

Reports also appeared about tactical changes of the frontline in around Kherson and Mykolaiv. Kyiv’s units withdrew from some of positions that they captured in the gray zone in the previous week. In general, the situation in the area remains stable and attempts of Kyiv to organize pressure on the Russians in this region failed.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry released a new statement on the development of its operation in Ukraine:

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation in Ukraine.

High-precision air-based missiles have hit 2 command posts, 3 firing positions of artillery batteries, as well as 18 areas of Ukrainian manpower and military equipment concentration. 2 ammunition depots have been destroyed in the areas of Vrubovka and Yakovlevka in Lugansk People’s Republic.

Operational-tactical aviation have hit 65 areas of AFU manpower and military equipment concentration.

The attacks have resulted in the elimination of more than 170 nationalists, 9 tanks, 2 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 1 battery of field artillery and 8 various purpose vehicles.

Russian air defence means have shot down 12 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near Liptsy, Streleche, Dement’evka, Borodoyarskoe, Mar’ino, Petrovskoe, Grakovo, Malye Prokhody in Kharkov Region, as well as Vasil’ievka in Nikolaev Region, overnight.

Missile troops and artillery have hit 39 command posts, 49 firing positions of AFU artillery, as well as 426 areas of manpower and military equipment concentration.

The attacks have resulted in the elimination of more than 400 nationalists, 10 armoured vehicles, 3 Grad multiple rocket launchers, 10 special vehicles, and 3 launchers of S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems near Kramatorsk.

In addition, shelling resulted in the destruction of one 155mm self-propelled howitzer (M109A3) donated by Norway, 2 US 155mm howitzers (M777), and 7 field artillery and mortars, including 1 203mm Pion self-propelled artillery mount.

In total, 190 Ukrainian aircraft and 129 helicopters, 1,139 unmanned aerial vehicles, 333 anti-aircraft missile systems, 3,443 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 478 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,807 field artillery and mortars, as well as 3,464 units of special military vehicles were destroyed during the operation.

Incompetent Russian military can’t protect ethnic Russians in Donbas. So much about “world’s second biggest military”. Quite many billions of rubbles of military money in pockets of slimy oligarchs.

You speak about Ukrainian corrupt oligarchs who earn big with the money and arms deliveries from the West ? You should use USD or EUR in place of rubles. Later we will know approximately how many West’s money have disappeared and arms as well that we will retrieve on the black market. Some says Russia is a corrupt country, but than we must consider Ukraine as the Saint Graal of the corruption, a real monument. The West is feeding and arming one of the most corrupted countries in the world, managed, if I can use this word, by an oligarch, one of the most fascist and with the goal of simply fighting the army that freed Europe from the Nazis in 1945.

The Putin cockroaches are the ones using artillery against an entire population. Aren’t they crying like cowardly cockroaches because they don’t want Ukrainian forces to use howitzers? The repulsive orwellian Russian propaganda is so moronic that it doesn’t even pretend to have any semblance of truth at this point.

Mohammed, you should read less propaganda from the West, even more moronic than the Russian propaganda. But don’t stress, after some months, even weeks perhaps, the real truth will appear, because even the Western medias will not be able to hide the truth, the atrocities of the Ukrainians, the corruption of Ukraine. When Zelensky will not be useful more, he will be eliminated by his own camp.

Muhammad your Prophet

The real truth has already been revealed in Bucha and elsewhere. The Putin cockroaches are a bunch of Nazi wannabes who rape and pillage everything everywhere the go

Ih the Ukrainian artillery becomes more powerful, the countermeasures will be more use of aviation and missiles, with more casualties. Of course, Russia will have more casualties too. This is the goal of the Western arms, and every competent expert knows that Ukraine cannot win, unless an unforeseeable event in the Kremlin itself.

Eddie Truncaro

As the West steps up its supply of heavy ordnance to the Nazis, Russia too will increase the quantity and quality of its firepower. That’s my expectation, at least.

I’m wondering why Russia doesn’t do a partial mobilization of its reserves, including putting the country on a war footing. I am guessing that would be sufficient to blow the Nazis away and end this war.

rex

accuracy? it isn’t difficult to hit civilian areas

but I am horrified by the fact that you see no problem with shelling civilian areas at all

these coward nazis are just like their grandpas…they lash at civilians when they lose

maybe they should grow a pair and become better soldiers instead of being human sewage using civilians as human shields and targets

SM Sparviero

J. Holm, you are really a scumbag, aren’t you? Shelling a civil area is not defintiively ‘accurancy’, is a massacre. Only with M777 is cheaper than send some Tockha missiles. I repeat: you are nothing but a scumbag.

So, who is experiencing the “setbacks” at Slavyansk? The headline and article don’t really answer this question.

The headline answers it. The Ukrainians just said they’d either have to withdraw from Slavyansk or face defeat

Eddie Truncaro

I didn’t see any info in this article confirming your claim. Regarding a possible Ukie withdrawal from Slavyansk, where did you get that info? If it’s from another article, I’d like to check it out.

Ask Aleksy Arestovich who made that comment

What do you call purposeful killing of unarmed civilians in residential areas with no military purpose? The word murder comes to mind. These ghouls don’t even hide what they do because their superiors are giving the OK. Any Ukrainian involved directly in these shellings should be tried and executed. Top to bottom.

Another day of Shooting fish in a barrel.

Tactical aviation eliminates at least 170 and artillery another 400 plus at least 100 pieces of hardware. What I didn’t see was any comments of tanks destroyed.

Meat grinder, slaughterhouse. Degraded is an understatement. Ground to dust is more accurate. If you include the wounded, Ukraine has to be losing 1500 to 2000 troops a day.

Outgunned greater than 10 to 1. Ground to dust. These loses are unsustainable. Men sent to the front with 10 days training and almost no ammo, air cover, fuel, food, or artillery support. Lead by the clown of Kiev. Up against a seasoned, professional army. Cannon fodder.

It probably does not matter much, as tanks are rather useless at such a distance and can be customarily counted among other pieces of hardware.

Let us not forget that It is not just the clown on Kiev, it is also his 9-yar-old son, who also gives him military advice.
