The platoon commander with the call sign “Atom” after the death of the “Surgeon” was surrounded. Realizing the complexity of the situation, Atom called fire on himself: “Guys, I’m surrounded. I’m calling fire on myself!” However, thanks to the precise work of our artillery, the enemy was cut off and Atom and his fighters were able to get out of the encirclement, while taking two prisoners with them.
In the area of responsibility of the 126th brigade, enemy losses in tanks amounted to 19 units, and our fighters nicknamed this place the “Cemetery of Tanks.” How much the enemy lost infantry and everything else in that zone is not yet known.
