On April 2 morning, a large explosion rocked the US-led coalition main base in al-Omar oil fields in the southeastern countryside of Syria’s Deir Ezzor.
Sada al-Sharqieh, a local news blog, shared a photo showing dark smoke rising from the base, which is known as the Green Village, after the explosion.

Sputnik reported that the explosion was the result of an “intense rocket attack” that hit the Green Village. However, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, said that US-led coalition carried out a controlled explosion of war remnants in the base.
The US-led coalition and its main proxy in northeastern Syria, the Syrian Democratic Forces, are yet to clarify the causes of the explosion.
The US-led coalition have been working to expand its presence and improve its security measures in the eastern and southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. Just two days earlier, the coalition launched a surveillance blimp from its base in the CONICO gas plant, which is located a few kilometers to the north of al-Omar oil fields.
In the last few months, several attacks targeted the US-led coalition’s base in al-Omar oil fields. Iranian-backed Syrian and Iraqi forces were unofficially blamed for most of these attacks, which were carried out with rockets and suicide drones.

Do not understand why they don’t use precision missiles to hit the oil-tankers that are stealing the oil from the fields in Syria.
The Americans are using their military to occupy Syrian oil fields. This is a serious war crime, breach of international and American laws. The American government is a criminal Mafia and has no business being indignant about Russia liberating the Ukraine.
