The Armed Forces of Ukraine continued shelling of the Russian border region of Belgorod. On October 21, Ukrainian shells hit one of the industrial enterprises of the Shebekinsky city district in the Belgorod region.
A fire broke out at the paint factory. According to preliminary data, a woman was injured.
On the same day, the head of the region reported on the “massive shelling” of the village of Murom, which is also located in the Shebekinsky district. Residential buildings, a school, a kindergarten and a house of culture were damaged. There were no dead or injured as a result of the shelling. Residents were taken out of the village.
Russian border regions are shelled by the Ukrainian military on a regular basis. The Belgorod Region has become one of the eight Russian regions in which a “medium-level response” regime has been introduced since October 19. This regime includes strengthening the protection of public order, a special mode of operation of state facilities, communication facilities, restrictions on the entry and exit of people, as well as inspection on the roads.
