A car bomb attack hit the Afghan capital of Kabul on Wednesday, killing at least 80 people and injuring about 350 others.
The car bomb reportedly struck a check point at the entrance to the diplomatic area at 8:30 local time. Embassies of Germany, Japan, Iran and India are located close to the attack site.
Many neighboring buildings, including the embassies, were damaged as well as more than 50 cars were either destroyed or damaged, according to media reports.
