With the expected collapse of ISIS in Syria and then Iraq, Libya could become a main ground of the anti-ISIS campaign. In 2015, ISIS was able to capture territory around the town of Surt. In 2016, the terrorist group will likely attempt to expand its control Libya’s vital oil infrastructure and fields.
