I think the area around the al-Watiyya airbase in the Northwest is not fully controlled by both sides. GNA as well as LNA have a presence there. I read reports that the GNA almost fully encircled the airbase. Suriyakmaps made a good map:

Yes, LNA has no forces in strength close to Zahra but are not yet encircled at Watiyah AB/Uqba bin Nafa. In the SE the GNA has no control south of the line of Wadi Zemzem, that is from Qadabiyah to Abu Qrayn, and the hashed area depicting “ISIS presence “is pure fantasy – ISIS were defeated and driven from Sirt two years ago.
I think ISIS had some cells south of Sirte, I don’t know if they still have them. They once established a fake checkpoint 20km south of Sirte. When the LNA recaptured Sirte and the area south of it, they must have discovered that fake checkpoint and those cells.
Hey,bro!Long time no see you,is not it?:)
Hey! I’m always posting under the liveuamap comments. I’m not there because of the “news”, but because of the discussions with the community there. Nonetheless I read the southfront posts everyday I just didn’t post comments here for a while.
I have a question for you.Do you think that Haftar can win this war, against Sarraj,Turkey and other Western countries?
I’m not sure if he can tbh. Things were looking very good for him last year when the LNA steamrolled the area south of Tripolis, but sadly like in Idlib, Turkey intervened and stopped the destruction of its Jihadis. Without that move, I’m sure whole Libya could have been liberated by the LNA and the situation there could have started normalizing, but without a significant change of the stand from Egypt, the UAE or Russia towards Turkey’s actions, nothing will change there in the near future.
Yes, we are all in the same situation.Because of this epidemic,The jihadists in Idlib could not be cleaned. When these problems come to an end, Syrian lands will find a peace,in Syrian Army’s hands.
Thank you for answering, you know that your political comments are really important for me.There are two reasons Libya is at war so far, these are USA and Turkey. I think especially when the end of Turkey’s assistance to jihadists, like in Syria, these terrorists have no chance to fought against Haftar.
Exactly, the situation in Libya is the same like in Syria: Without the US and Turkey, these two wars would have ended long time ago.
