Libyan Air Force (LAF) warplanes carried out intense airstrikes on the Air Academy in the northern city of Misrata on August 6 and 7.
According to the Libyan National Army (LNA), the airstrikes destroyed a cargo plane, an L-39 warplane as well as two P-12, P-14 VHF radars.
“The strikes were precise and their effect was limited to the targets, which were destroyed,” the LNA said in a press release.
Pro-LNA sources claimed that the cargo plane was transferring weapons and ammunition from Turkey to forces loyal to the Government of National Accord (GNA). A video showing a large explosion after the airstrike on the plane suggests that it was indeed loaded with ammunition.
These airstrikes appear to be a response to the downing of the Wing Loong II unmanned combat vehicle (UCAV) by GNA forces, last week. The UCAV was reportedly being operated by the UAE Air Force (UAEAF).
The L-39 was a Ukranian military cargo plane that took off from Turkey packed with weapons and terrorist reinforcements being transferred from Syria. And with the same Turkey-backed al qaeda/muslim brotherhood about to lose their last Northern Hama strongholds Kafr Zita & al Lataminah, it would seem that these rats are heading for wipeout in both Syria and Libya. Here’s hoping that their extinction is as painfully swift as possible.
L-39 Albatros is a jet trainer, IL-76 is the Cargo plane. Otherwise, you’re on the money.
very nice
Turks and Ukranians working together promoting terror in Syria, Libya and Donetsk-Lugansk…
And the European Union wants to take these two terror states in …
But on the other hand the E.U is a mafia runed organisation anyway…so…it kinda makes sense I guess.
EU doesn’t want to take Turkey in. And probably not even Ukraine ( or in next 30 years maybe if ever )… Ukraine is just satrap, a mere instrument in the international politics. They do what they have been told to do. Turkey is another story. They struggle for the independent sovereign foreign policy. Only countries like China and Russia can have really independent sovereign policy outside of the Western world.
