On June 8, forces of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord and Syrian militant groups continued their attempts to reach the port city of Sirte controlled by the Libyan National Army. This advance is directly supported by Turkish special forces and combat drones. One of them, the Bayraktar TB2, was downed by the Libyan National Army a few hours ago.
