Yesterday, June 24, Turkish authorities ordered the arrest and detention of 65 soldiers as part of a crackdown on the Gülen movement, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported.

Forty-one Turkish soldiers have been arrested in 23 provinces across Turkey on the basis of detention orders issued by the Konstantinopolis Prosecutor’s Office.

To these arrests we must add the 65 Turkish soldiers, 20 professors and 29 civil servants who were arrested a month ago along with the others.

If we add these soldiers to the total number of those arrested since 2016, we reach about 4,000 members of the Turkish forces who have been imprisoned and belong to all sectors.

We are talking about experienced executives whose education is incomplete since many of them have been trained in the EU and the USA.

In an interview with Sky News Arabia, Gaddafi al-Dam stressed that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s attempts to intervene in Libya would fail.
