Who cares where Carrier Strike Groups are at? Perhaps Sweet Memories for Old-Timers…But these days Aircraft-Carriers are nothing more than Floating Caskets….Conventional Wars….???
Aircraft carriers are so passe, I served on Australia’s last carrier, and during exercises we got sunk by torpedoes and F4 Phantoms, they were really cool one moment they were a tiny spot on the horizon, and the next they were overhead, and you were dead.
With current satellite and missile technology they would all be feeding the fish in days.
The Americans think that if they start a rerun of WWII, everybody else will play the same game?
