i see great mobility in US naval forces. almost every available unit is in sea missions. the fact that i must emphasize is that there are 2 and in a while 3 groups in the med sea. seems logical. Trump has many ‘open fronts’ there….the rogue sultan ,Syria, Libya and of course its constant headache Iran.
The USA are sending heavy bombers to the ME as well. I think the middle East is about to explode. Iran, Syria, Lebanon and Gaza all at once. I don’t think they’ll attack Syria or Lebanon proper but they’ll attack Iran and Hezbollah in those countries.
Trump needs a wing and Bolton’s gonna get him one.
as you said….Iran is the most likely target….a show for media…a show of great American force…but Iran isnt Libya or Iraq. Put the Russian factor in the equation.
Trump is infamous for not reading intelligence briefings and I doubt any of the clowns he surrounded himself with dare to tell him about the limitations of air power …. especially against a mountainous country like Iran that have been digging in for this attack since 1979. I think Trump believes that Iran and Iraq are basically the same place …. boy is he going to be in for a shock.
very true….Iran is better organized as you mentioned since it expects such an attack from US.it has an army of very loyal troops, well equipped as well.
