Carrier strike group (CSG) is an operational formation of the United States Navy. It is centered on an aircraft carrier and a carrier air wing of 65 to 70 aircrafts. It’s composed of roughly 7,500 personnel, an aircraft carrier, at least one cruiser, a destroyer squadron of at least two destroyers and/or frigates. A carrier strike group also, on occasion, includes submarines, attached logistics ships and a supply ship. Carrier strike groups comprise a principal element of U.S. power projection over the world’s oceans
Funny fact: Ukrops in Donetzk are safer from Russian annihilation than americunts in NY.
And if I may add. Your better off with a leader who has compassion, rather than one who obviously has none.
The ability to host 70 aircraft on a ship is indeed impressive regardless of intention..Thanks
It saves Russian and Chinese missiles. Insted of shooting down all the planes, they just need to sink the ship.
and, seen carriers are sitting duck, useful only to attack civilians, ammericuns are smart if retire all their 100.000 tons of diplomacy in home ports.. and…. is easy understand that carriers are not safe also in home ports
