Carrier strike group (CSG) is an operational formation of the United States Navy. It is centered on an aircraft carrier and a carrier air wing of 65 to 70 aircrafts. It’s composed of roughly 7,500 personnel, an aircraft carrier, at least one cruiser, a destroyer squadron of at least two destroyers and/or frigates. A carrier strike group also, on occasion, includes submarines, attached logistics ships and a supply ship. Carrier strike groups comprise a principal element of U.S. power projection over the world’s oceans
The ONLY place the USA can project power with OBSOLETE CARRIER GROUPS is the BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN which is exactly where they ALL will be within 1 hour of hostilities between Russia and the USA, the reality is the CARRIER GROUPS since WW2 are NOW OBSOLETE just like the BATTLESHIPS were found to be OBSOLETE in WW2 and relegated to a 2nd or 3rd role to the Carriers, today the CARRIER GROUPS find themselves in exactly the same situation the day of the CARRIER GROUP being top dog is OVER, When the missiles fly the first victims will be those carrier groups all at the bottom of the sea BEFORE they are able to get their aircraft off their decks. – Z –
