On September 24, an unidentified loitering munition targeted a military vehicle of al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) or its allies near the town of Benin in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib.
Syrian opposition activists shared a video showing the loitering munition flying over southern Idlib seconds before impacting its target. The munition, which had an X-shaped wing design, is identical to a type that was used against HTS and is allies multiple times in the past.
While some activists said that the loitering munition was launched by Russian forces, others believe that it is Syrian or Iranian.

A few hours prior to the loitering munition strike, warplanes of the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out at least four airstrikes on the outskirts of the towns of Ghassaniyeh and Alyeh in western Idlib.

According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Russian warplanes have carried out at least 185 airstrikes on Greater Idlib since the start of September.
The situation in Greater Idlib remains unstable. The ceasefire agreement is being violated on a daily basis by HTS and its allies. A military confrontation may break out in the region soon. Recent reports indicate that the Syrian Arab Army and its allies are planning to launch a ground operation in the region.
Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is set to discuss the unstable situation in Greater Idlib with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on September 29.
Time for turks and their terrorist allies to pack it up and leave the Idlib region. A ground invasion with air support from multiple nations = game over for western backed swine.
Looks like a Zara Lancet model. I don’t know any other kamikaze drone with a cruciform wing except the Zara Lancet series.
It could be an Israeli Uvision Hero, if one looks closely at the video it looks like the X-wings are mounted like on an Hero loitering munition. It could also be an Chinese S570 loitering munition. The video is good but not good enough to be sure of the model.
Condolences to the fallen wahabimossad and CIAisis operators. May they rest in pieces…
