The Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) is the primary IFV for the US and Saudi Arabian Armies. The M2A3 was developed in 1995. The M2A3 is now considered as the standard Bradley IFV. The vehicle is fitted with explosive reactive armor, a navigation system and other improvements. However, the side platings don’t include firing ports due to the explosive reactive armour panels.
The M2A3 is primarily used to transport troops into battle and to provide fire support to infantry. The vehicle has a crew of three and a seven-man infantry squad.
