An explosion has been reported at a crude oil pipeline heading to the Es Sider sea terminal in Libya. Es Sider is the largest oil depot in Libya. According to reports, the blast occurred near Marada.

The Es Sider sea terminal changed hands on several occasions since 2011 when the Libyan war started. Currently, the port is in the hands of forces loyal to Khalifa Haftar. The port shippes around 447,000 barrels per day.
