This map allows to compare the military situation in southern Idlib on December 19 before the Syrian Army’s advance started, and on December 23, after several days of the operation. Since the start of the advance, government forces have liberated over 20 villages from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra) and other radical groups.

There are reports about negotiations about the handover of Maarat al-Numan to the SAA.
Yeah that would be awesome! That ‘ll include the entire area east of it (Jarjanaz) and east and south along M5 i presume
I hope when this happenes, the SAA will advance further west of Maarat al-Numan to increase their presence in Jabal al-Zawiya.

Not bad for just 4 days work, at this rate how long would it take for the whole governorate to collapse, not long at all. The mighty SAA and SAAF are making the fools who claim they can’t fight look like idiots, the SAA and SAAF are proving they can fight and fight well, once their hands are untied.
