- An Al-Shabaab abmush on a government building in Mogadishu killed 15 people, including the country’s deputy labour minister, and injured 11 others on March 23. Militants used a SVBIED prior to start a storm of the building.
- On March 25, a car bomb killed a University lecturere and injured 3 other people in the Hodan district of Mogadishu.
- At least 5 Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers were reportedly killed by Al Shabaab in Elwak in the southwestern Gedo region of Somalia.
