- On March 19, Boko Haram members laid siege on Michika in Adamawa State. They looted and vandalised the town. The governemnt responded by depploying reinforcements to the area;
- 8 people were killed and 7 other injured near Gwoza in Borno State when a vehicle hit a roadside bomb on March 18;
- Boko Haram members besieged Lassa in Borno State destroying some properties and killing three persons;
- The military said that its forces engaged terrorists along Maikadiri – Shuwari Road killing many of them.
