The Syrian Arab Army assisted by Liwa Fatemiyoun (also known as Fatemiyoun Division) and Hezbollah have liberated a significant area from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in the northeast Hama countryside.
Pro-government forces have liberated the villages of Ash-Shuhatiyah, Jubb Al-Abyad, Abu Laffah, Sham Al-Hawa, Rasm Abu Miyal, Murayjeb Al-Jumalan, Khafya, Mushayrifa, Rasm Al-Ahmar, Rasm Al-Sawan and Mushayrifa Odwan.
The government forces advance succeeded thanks to clashes between Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nursa, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) and ISIS in the area. These clashes resulted in the weakening of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham positions north of Sheikh Hilal.
The avdance was spported by Iranian unmanned combat aerial vehicles.
