After the recent series of advances by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in western Aleppo, northwestern Hama and southern Idlib, the terrorist group has established control over the major part of the Idlib demilitarized zone. This development may mark the end of the demilitarized zone deal agreement because Hayat Tahir al-Sham is likely not going to respect the deal’s terms and conditions: the ceasefire and heavy weapons withdrawal.
The current situation sets up a foothold for a new level of the escalation in this part of Syria because a military option appears to be the only solution to neutralize the terrorists controlling Idlib and nearby areas.

Turkey has also sent terrorists to Xinjiang province in China.
Big mistake for China not to send Chinese marines to Syria to fight those Oghur Turks from Sinkiang. It would have given the Chinese real fighting experience and kill their terrorists well away from China.

Turkey and Russia have cooked up a deal for Turkey to save face by allowing Idlib to be taken over by Terrorists that Erdogan says he can not control

Russia and Syria knew Turkey would betray them and are baiting a trap to allow the Turkish army to invade Idlib and Trans Euphrates and then jointly smash them thus getting the Turks out of Syria altogether and destroying Turkey’s influence in the Middle East for two generations.

You are right, Kurds have always controlled Sheikh Maqsud district but it is very vulnerable to attack from enemy entrenched less than 1 000 meters distant.
But I don’t know how they had captured it, because it’s fully encircled. Did SAA let them in to help them defend Aleppo?

Yes, SAA has now deployed forces with air and artillery support to attack from multiple directions – SA could easily cut off and encircle the enemy positions around Khan Sheikhoun/Ma’arat Numan/Saraqib(key) and Jisr Shighour over 72 hours – just a matter of time and politics now
