Ansar Allah (also known as the Houthis) continues its advance on positions of Saudi-backed forces in the Yemeni provinces of Marib and Baydaa. Recently, the Houthis have captured the areas of Najd al-Majmaa, Habisah, Ajam al-Sud and al-Atf areas in the Rahbah district.

There is a naval blockade on Yemen enforced by Saudi, US, UAE, Egyptian airforces. The end of the weapons embargo on Iran won’t help the Houthis much. it will however allow Iran to buy modern fighter jets and sophisticated components and weapons to improve their capabilities.

Iran will break the siege on Yemen like they did on Venezuela, what did the US do? Nothing, you’ll see, they will openly and proudly send them whatever they want, oil, arms, etc

All of the world could learn something from them. They are out of the norm obviously. Syrians with all their problems have done a nice job still, take a look at the rest of the world, almost no country has self determination like Syria does. That in itself is a huge feature
Agree, I love the Houthis efforts every day, but the situation in Yemen war theatre is very different, and in some ways much simpler, than in Syria. For starters geographically having an opposition that is a single coalition of neighbouring countries, who are pathetic warriors on the whole makes it easier on the battlefield. They’ve done well considering they don’t own the skies, the Syrians at least can fly their own jets to some extent. The attack on Syria was so massive and international in scope that without Russia Syria would have been toast. The attack on Yemen has less broad base, and is more directional. Syria was almost completely surrounded by co-operating hostiles, and one of them is israel. It was a tough gig, very tough.
“Syrian resistance”??? Do you mean SAA or the anti-government groups? It’s a bit confusing to use a term ‘Syrian resistance’ when no one uses it. Hope you mean the SAA.
