A recent series of ISIS attacks on the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies in the provinces of Homs and Deir Ezzor has become another confirmation that the terrorist group still has a notable presence in the central Syrian desert. The map below shows the area in eastern Homs, which is heavily influenced by the terrorist group’s cells.
They are much closer to the Deir Ezzor highway than I thought. This is a problem, reason for SAA loses as of late. Should be able to launch an operation to clean up desert trash from T3.
they could if they was left alone to decide what is good for their motherland. Unfortunately this is not the case.
yes i hope so
As long as the US is flying in supplies, and attacking the SAA when they try to remove them they will persist.
while SAA build up for idlib, why they can’t use other militia or hezbolah to clean this area? or vice versa and leave this area to tiger
SAA should clean this up, but it difficult to empty a boat that is leaking in the middle of an ocean.
SAA incompetence is so obvious.
The real end of Daesh……….and perhaps Al Baghdadi…….the SAA have no excuse !!!!!!!!
The end? Don’t think so somehow! Perhaps the SAA have just come to accept the fact that Daesh will never be beaten (especially with Baghdadi now making a re-appearance to prove he is still alive as that will no doubt influence more Daesh fighters into attacking), so the SAA have probably now just given up trying!
you should give up making comments like that
The sleeping terrorists cells may wake up the sleeping Syria army.
where is tiger forces and other elite SAA divisions???
Many parts oif them are dead and renewed, but some are good veterans.
I see this as a “keep” phase. Its not enough to take those parts from ISIS, Qaida, Nusra, SDFs, FSAs well extra assisted by helpers.
Thats why RuAF has come back. Assads cant keep, what Assads are helped to.
There are none to send.
The best hope for a kind of not war is, that all soldiers are tired and traumatized or hancicapped. ISIS only are a dancing mice, but there is only kittens to take them.
Thats how I see that. Its prestige Assads on the maps has taken so much. No focus. A good example was the bridge crossing Eufrat, where they with few verý needed tropps went into well digged ISIS troops and after that were kept below in the valley by SDF and Coalision.
They shoould have advanced to Abu Kamal in staed and let SDFs take the bankside, whére they already are.
Thats where the good troops of Yours are. They spread and split up good troops and they also were tired and needed supply.
well they need to regroup now and stop daeshbags from expanding once and for all
It is strange that this enclave persists. All I can think of is that it is being monitored carefully to uncover all the links and collaborators making it happen.
