I would say the main routes from Turkey to Greece are to the Greek islands of Lesvos, Chios, Samos, etc, the ones close to the Turkish shores. Rubber dinghies are hard to detect by coast guard radars, so Turkish, Greek & some European countries’ coast guards helping to patrol those bottleneck sea routes via strong lights on nights.
