On January 10, pro-government forces, led by the Tiger Forces, liberated the villages of Rasm Niyas, Aziziyah, Rifiyah, Bayaah Saghirah, Bayaah Khabirah, Buwaydir, Mabous, Qawlat Buwaydir, Rasm Hamidah, Rasm Jahsh, Uqwayjat Qana, Burk, Uqlat al-Jahman, Um Tamakh and Rasm Khushuf from Hayat Tahrir al-Sham and its allies in southern Idlib. Separately, the Syrian Arab Army retook control over the village of Um Miyal in northeastern Hama.
According to the Hezbollah media wing in Syria, the al Qaeda-linked Levant Liberation Committee is one of the “opposition” groups supporting Hayat Tahrir al-Sham in the Abu al-Duhur area.
Separately, reports are circulating tha the army also advanced in southern Aleppo and established control over the hills of Abo Ruwayl and Maqbara.
Excellent news! Hopefully after the liberation of Abu Dhuhur securing the Homs-Aleppo highway and that Shia enclave will be next.
First SAA will have to fend of the joint counterattack of most rebel groups near Abu Dali. If that succeeds, they will have to defend a pocket without any set defences.
And what makes you think these guys can still deliver a knockout punch? The best they were able to do in the last two years was the offensive to take the Ramousah artillery academy in Aleppo to break the siege. In the end it failed. The spring Hama offensive also failed and saw them losing ground. These guys are a spent force, who spent most of the last year infighting. I welcome this joint counterattack, as it will draw out the rats in the open for the chopping block. Could it be a hard battle? Will the SAA make some mistakes? Will some ground be lost for a while? All potentially true. But in the end the Jihadis will not come out on top, that ship sailed so long ago its already in the port on the other side of the ocean, its crew busy with booze and hookers.
There is also advancement near Khanasir. The pocket is totally collapsing. HTS is fully retreating before they are besieged.
Yes there have been updates as SAA are 10 km separation in closing that pocket with ISIS/HTS (Al Qaeda) and they are at the gates Abu Duhur airbase waiting for demining units so they can enter the base.
Then the guardian reports that the SAA has targeted 8 hospitals in Idlib and 70,000 people are fleeing as for the hospitals, one under construction was visited by Suheil and the only ones fleeing are HTS and all the other Al Qaeda affiliates in Idlib.

There is a lot of trapped zionist rats to be exterminated.
Foreign (Israel, NATO, USA) advisors will be allowed to leave freely the area,
They should be arrested and paraded to the world with a large ‘team photo’ of all of them shown at a UN assembly meeting.
They started fleeing the area earlier which started the panic among the Al Qaeda groups and distrust between them, why the calls to desert the foreigners command.
Well done SAA, now you do look like a turtle.
I expect USAF to give airlift to CIA assets , trapped in the pocket.
