This map provides a general look at the current military situation in eastern Syria. Recently, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have relaunched their operation aganist ISIS on the eastern bank of the Euphrates Valley. The SDF is seeking to capture the town of Hajin and to capture the remaining ISIS-held area on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
