A brief overview of the recent developments in Nagorno-Karabakh:
- On December 9, 649 displaced persons returned from Yerevan to Stepanakert by buses with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers;
- As of December 10, more than 36500 people have returned to Karabakh with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers;
- As of December 10, Russia reported that more than 70 hectares of land and about 23 kilometers of roads were cleared from mines and IEDs and 4,500 explosive objects were found and destroyed;
- As of December 10, Russian military medics deployed at Stepanakert Airport provided assistance to 368 residents of Nagorno-Karabakh;
- On December 9, two Azerbaijan sappers died and another one received injures while they were demining the area of Kalbajar.
