A brief overview of the recent developments in Nagorno-Karabakh:
- As of December 17, Russian military doctors provided medical assistance to 558 people, including 67 children, in Karabakh;
- On December 16, 439 displaced persons returned from Yerevan to Stepanakert by buses with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers;
- As of December 17, a total of 40,800 people returned to Karabakh with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers;
- On December 16, President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan said he is ready to resign as soon as Armenia will be ready to held the presidential and parliamentary elections in the region;
- On December 16, 136 Turkish military sappers arrived in Azerbaijan.
