A brief overview of the recent developments in Nagorno-Karabakh:
- On December 20, 316 displaced persons returned from Yerevan to Stepanakert by buses with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers;
- As of December 21, more than 42,000 people returned to Karabakh with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers;
- As of December 21, Russia reported that more than 238 hectares of land and about 93 kilometers of roads were cleared from mines and IEDs and 8300 explosive objects were found and destroyed;
- As of December 20, 1039 bodies retrieved from battle zones since 13 November, according to the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh;
- On December 20, Russian peacekeepers established a post at the entrance of Davit Bek village;
- On December 21, 7 more trucks delivering humanitarian aid from Russia arrived in Karabakh, according to the State Service of Emergency Situations of Artsakh;
- On December 21, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the south of Armenia amid the ongoing demarcation of the border with Azerbaijan.
